Steve Edwards Attorney

As an associate attorney at Canyon River Law, Steve Edwards is enthusiastic about helping clients navigate the often-complex legal frontier. Steve believes that everyone needs a zealous advocate who will listen with care and assist them in achieving their goals. That desire to serve is what drove him to the practice of law.

Steve is a native Idahoan who grew up in Twin Falls and attended High School in Boise. Steve enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2004. Steve served as an interrogator throughout his enlistment and did one tour of duty in Afghanistan. After eight years of service in the United States Army, Steve attended Boise State University where he graduated Cum Laude before attending Law School at the University of Idaho, College of Law. While attending law school, Steve served as the President of the Idaho Veteran’s Law Association, Treasurer of the Idaho Chapter of the American Constitution Society, and Chief Technical Editor of the Idaho Law Review. Steve graduated in the top quarter of his law school class and also concurrently earned a Master of Science in Accountancy – Taxation (MSAT) from Boise State’s College of Business and Economics where he was named as the Spring 2021 Signature Student.

Steve comes from a big family and now has a big family of his own. Steve and his wife Brittaney, a native of Oakley, Idaho, welcomed triplets, a boy and two girls, into the world in 2017 and enjoy raising them in the small-town atmosphere in which they both grew up. Steve loves fishing, hunting, rodeo, and all the outdoor experiences Idaho has to offer.
